SINLOC MANAGES THE NEW JOINT HOSPITAL CENTRE OF THE TWO VENETIAN CITIES
Sinloc, together with other partners, has invested in Euganea Sanità SpA, a Special Purpose Vehicle entrusted by ULSS 6 EUGANEA with the construction of the new integrated hospital hub of Este and Monselice.
The hospital complex covers about 250 thousand m2, with 450 beds, 1,800 parking spaces and a commercial area of about 350 m2. The catchment area of the new structure spans 46 municipalities, with a population of about 180 thousand inhabitants. The total investment for the project was equal to € 155 million, of which about € 77 million was covered by public funds. Sinloc has invested approximately € 2.14 million and owns a 10% stake in the company. The initiative is currently at management step. The project has allowed realizing a facility to replace the two Este and Monselice healthcare centres, providing management efficiency in the services offered, high performance of the systems, and a functional layout consistent with current best practices for hospitals.
The hospital was built in an undeveloped area, not served by transport services, and has contributed to revitalize a suburban neighbourhood.
