HESTIA Pilot – Berchidda

Berchidda is one of the three pilots of the HESTIA Horizon 2020 project - of which Sinloc is the lead. In the town of Berchidda, in Sardinia, the demand and response system HESTIA, which allows a more efficient use of energy, has been installed 30 residential units. Thanks to this implementation, the HESTIA system is able to directly perform energy flexibility actions through the control of electrical load and charging processes and discharge of storage batteries residential. In addition to residential batteries, a common battery optimized for grid balancing is being tested in the pilot.
