The initiative, structured as a 50/50 co-investment between the two funds managed by Sinloc Group’s SGR, further strengthens the Group’s commitment to developing infrastructure that supports the energy transition.

Sinloc Investimenti SGR has completed the acquisition of a 49% equity stake in Solis S.r.l., together with the related shareholder loan, from Repower Renewable S.p.A., the Repower Group company responsible for the development and management of renewable power generation assets and the development of new renewable energy projects in Italy.

Solis S.r.l. is the project company owning a portfolio of 13 fully operational photovoltaic plants, with a total installed capacity of 22.8 MWp, located in Friuli-Venezia Giulia, Veneto and Puglia. Specifically, the portfolio includes 5.7 MWp in the Province of Udine, 7.4 MWp in the Province of Rovigo and 9.7 MWp in the Province of Brindisi.

With the acquisition of the stake in Solis, Sinloc Investimenti SGR brings the total renewable energy generation capacity under management to over 44 MWp, further strengthening its growth trajectory in the renewable energy sector and partnering with a leading market operator such as Repower Renewable.

The operation qualifies as a sustainable investment consistent with the strategy of the alternative investment funds (AIFs) managed by Sinloc Investimenti SGR, the Infrastructure & Transition Energy Fund and the Sinloc Transition Energy Fund, both classified as Article 9 funds under the Sustainable Finance Disclosure Regulation (SFDR). The investment is expected to generate a positive environmental impact, with an estimated annual reduction of 12,048 tonnes of CO₂ and savings of non-renewable primary energy of 6,813 tonnes of oil equivalent (toe), corresponding to the average annual energy consumption of more than 4,000 households.

Marco Ceroni, CEO of Repower Renewable, commented: “Repower Renewable works with the objective of strengthening the Group’s positioning in the renewable energy sector in Italy and, in this way, contributing to the energy transition process. We are proud to have successfully completed this transaction, which attests to the professionalism with which Solis — and therefore Repower Renewable — operates in the market. The partnership with Sinloc Investimenti SGR may be further strengthened through the sharing of additional projects from our development pipeline.”

According to Enzo Pietropaoli, Head of the Infrastructure and Energy Transition Business Unit at Sinloc Investimenti SGR: “This transaction strengthens the investment strategy of the funds managed by Sinloc Investimenti SGR dedicated to the energy transition, confirming our ability to effectively allocate capital to high-quality renewable assets with solid industrial foundations. The Solis portfolio expands the renewable capacity under management and generates an immediate positive environmental impact. The investment forms part of our Funds’ broader commitment to sustainable infrastructure, both through infrastructure projects and public‑private partnerships, and also marks the beginning of a collaboration with Repower Renewable, with whom we share the objective of accelerating the decarbonisation pathway. .”
