Support for the PPP proposal for the management and revitalisation of the Vicenza Fruit and Vegetable Market

La Veloce intends to respond to the public notice issued by the Municipality of Vicenza inviting private individuals, pursuant to Article 193, paragraph 16 of Legislative Decree 36/2023, to submit project proposals financed by project financing aimed at identifying a promoter to whom to award the concession for the management, ordinary and extraordinary maintenance and revitalisation of the Vicenza fruit and vegetable market complex. The concession covers the overall management of the market spaces and activities, as well as ancillary services and maintenance activities, in compliance with the laws and regulations in force.

The activities supporting the presentation of the project proposal, aimed at constructing the promoter's proposal pursuant to Article 193 of the Public Contracts Code, involved the drafting of an Economic and Financial Plan capable of demonstrating the economic and financial sustainability of the entire operation for the estimated duration of the concession (15 years) and a management plan for the Fruit and Vegetable Market, with particular regard to process innovation, digitalisation and the ability to enhance the local agri-food supply chain and the relaunch and revitalisation of the area with a view to regenerating the entire neighbourhood.
