Implementation of an energy community model, within the framework of the European Facility NESOI. The model was developed by the REC of the Fondo Saccà (Messina) and will be replicated in three other Sicilian territories: Mirabella Imbaccari, Casalvecchio Siculo and on the island of Salina.
The project aims to finalise and refine a scheme of solidarity-based energy communities, which can pool energy between members according to social algorithms, connecting energy efficient buildings.
